Common use of Sick Leave Incentive Beginning Clause in Contracts

Sick Leave Incentive Beginning. January 1, 2021, full-time employees covered by this Agreement will be eligible to participate in a sick leave incentive program. Each employee will receive eight (8) hours of vacation leave credited to his or her balance if the employee uses no sick leave from January 1 to April 30 of each year, and an additional eight (8) hours of vacation leave credited to his or her balance credit if the employee uses no sick leave from May 1 to August 1 of each year; and an additional eight (8) hours of vacation leave credited to his or her balance credit if the employee uses no sick leave from September 1 to December 31 of each year. Each employee is only eligible to earn up to twenty-four (24) hours of leave per calendar year under this section. Each employee will receive eight seven (8) 7) hours of vacation leave credited to his or her balance if the employee uses no sick leave from January 1 to April June 30 of each year, and an additional eight seven (8) 7) hours of vacation leave credited to his or her balance credit if the employee uses no sick leave from May 1 to August 1 of each year; and an additional eight (8) hours of vacation leave credited to his or her balance credit if the employee uses no sick leave from September July 1 to December 31 of each year.
