Sick Leave Bonus. For every six (6) months of perfect sick leave attendance after July 1, 1987, the employee will receive eight (8) hours of bonus time. This bonus time will be prorated for part-time employees. Such bonus time can be used for any leave purpose covered by this Agreement. Such bonus time shall be counted as vacation leave credits for purposes of determining eligibility for carry- over and cash payments.

Sick Leave Bonus. 1. Any teacher who has accumulated at least one hundred twenty (120) days of sick leave at the end of the final year of service with the School Corporation and is considered vested under the plan documents shall have the sum of two thousand dollars ($2,000) added to the compensation owed under the final teaching contract. 2. To receive the sick leave bonus the retiring teacher must submit a written unconditional and irrevocable letter of resignation to the Superintendent no later than March 1st of the year when retirement is to begin. However, in the event a teacher is unable to give the required notice because of an accident, illness, injury, or for another unforeseen reason, the teacher may petition the Board for the remainder of his/her entitlement to the sick leave bonus. 3. The $2,000 will be paid to the retiring teacher within three weeks of receipt of the letter of resignation, and this incentive payment will be included in the teacher's earnings history report to ISTRF.
Sick Leave Bonus a. If an employee uses no sick leave during the contract year, at the end of the school year, the employee will receive one (1) day's additional pay. b. If an employee uses one (1) day of sick leave during the contract year, at the end of the school year, the employee will receive an additional half (1/2) of a day's pay. c. If an employee uses two (2) days of sick leave during the contract year, at the end of the school year, the employee will receive an additional quarter (1/4) of a day's pay.
Sick Leave Bonus. Certificated staff who use three (3) days of sick leave or less during any contracted school year shall receive a bonus of $150.00 payable at the end of their last pay period.
Sick Leave Bonus. Employees with six (6) months perfect sick leave attendance after April 4, 1988 shall earn eight (8) hours of paid leave. A leave of absence from work pursuant to workers’ compensation is counted as an absence from work in the same manner as sick leave for the purpose of this bonus. That leave earned in accordance with this provision will be subject to those used, accrual and pay provisions applicable to vacation.
Sick Leave Bonus. Effective September 2, 1979, in lieu of the supplemental sick leave provision formerly in effect each employee who has been continuously employed since a date prior to July 1, 1975, shall be given a one-time non-recurring bonus of 44 days of paid sick leave entitlement. Said bonus days of paid sick leave entitlement shall be added to the balance of paid sick leave entitlement which each such employee has accrued pursuant to subsection D. hereof, and such use shall thereafter be subject to the same conditions which are applicable to accumulated leave with pay entitlement. An Agency/ Department Head, in his/her sole discretion, may grant to an employee who was eligible for sick leave bonus provided herein and who has exhausted paid cumulative sick leave entitlement accrued pursuant to subsection D. hereof, including bonus sick leave, discretionary major medical supplemental paid sick leave. In the case of such an employee who, as of June 25, 1979, had completed 26 pay periods and less than 130 pay periods of continuous employment, the maximum aggregate lifetime eligibility for major medical supplemental paid sick leave shall be 22 days. In the case of such an employee who, as of June 25, 1979, had completed 130 pay periods of continuous employment, the maximum aggregate lifetime eligibility for major medical supplemental paid sick leave shall be 44 days. Major medical supplemental paid sick leave may be granted only in those instances in which: 1) the employee's absence is caused by a serious injury or illness requiring prolonged absence from work, 2) the injury or illness was not incurred in the course of employment, and 3) the employee has not incurred a break in service subsequent to June 24, 1979. The Agency/Department Head's determination to deny major medical supplemental paid sick leave shall be final and non-grievable. The words "continuously employed" as used in Section (e) hereof mean full-time County service in which no break has occurred.
Sick Leave Bonus. An employee who does not use any sick leave in a school year, either awarded that year or accumulated from previous years and for any purpose (including personal days), shall accrue an additional sick leave day at the end of that year.

Sick Leave Bonus. Teachers who have accumulated one hundred twenty 120 days of sick leave at the end of the final year of service with the Corporation and are considered vested under the provisions of Sections A and C above shall have the sum of twelve thousand five hundred dollars ($12,500) added to their final teaching contract if they are retiring from Beech Grove City Schools. To receive the sick leave bonus retiring Teachers must submit a written unconditional and irrevocable letter of resignation to the Board no later than May 1st of the calendar year when retirement is to begin. However, in the event a Teacher is unable to give the notice because of an accident, ill health, or for another unforeseen reason, the Teacher may petition the Board for the sick leave bonus. The $12,500 sick leave bonus shall be paid to the Teacher within the remaining pays left on the Teacher’s last contract, and this bonus payment shall be included in the Teacher’s earnings history reported to ISTRF. Teachers who: (a) have accumulated one hundred twenty 120 days of sick leave at the end of the final year of service with the Corporation, and (b) are considered vested under the provisions of Sections A and C above, and (c) submit a written letter of resignation to the Board no later than February 1st of the school year when retirement is to begin for end of school year retirements or, for mid- school year retirements, by no later than September 1st, will receive an additional $2,500 added to their final teaching contract if they are retiring from Beech Grove City Schools. Teachers will have to request to be rehired by the Beech Grove Board of Education per Indiana Code IC 5-8-4-1 if they decide not to retire from BGCS after submitting the letter of resignation under this provision.
Sick Leave Bonus. An employee will be eligible for sick leave bonus only if the employee uses no sick leave during the year (July 1 through June 30), and the bonus will be paid at the, rate of $400 after June 30. To be eligible for the sick leave bonus, the employee must be actively working in his/her Board position for the entire year, with the only exceptions for absences being the use of paid vacation or paid personal days during the year, and for Workers’ Compensation but for no longer than one (1) year from the first day of such absence on Workers’ Compensation.
Sick Leave Bonus. Employees represented by the Association who use thirty two (32) hours or less in sick leave during each fiscal year of this contract shall be awarded eight (8)hours of compensatory time. Employees must have completed a full fiscal year of employment to be eligible for this benefit.
