Sick Leave Incentive. The City will institute a sick leave incentive based on the usage of the bargaining unit; further, the City will pay each person who qualifies during January of each year. The incentive will be calculated and monitored by the Personnel Department and will be based on the pay periods during a calendar year. The incentive shall be awarded only when the bargaining unit's average sick leave usage is less than the City average and the following conditions are met: When the bargaining unit's sick leave usage is greater than forty (40) hours but less than the City average, the City will pay each member using between zero (0) and sixteen (16) hours of sick leave, eight (8) hours pay and any member using more than sixteen (16) but equal to or less than twenty-four (24) hours, four (4) hours pay. When the bargaining unit's average sick leave usage is equal to or less than forty (40) hours, the City will pay each member who used between zero (0) and sixteen (16) hours, sixteen (16) hours of pay at their current hourly rate. Those members who used more than sixteen (16) but equal to or less than twenty-four (24) hours, will receive eight (8) hours of pay.
Sick Leave Incentive. Effective September 1, 1986, employees covered by this Agreement, hired on or after October 1, 1977, who are not entitled to disability leave under State Statute R.C.W. 41.26, shall be eligible for the following sick leave incentive program:
A. Employees who use no sick leave in a payroll year shall have sixteen (16) hours of additional sick leave credited to their account for the next year;
B. Employees who use two (2) days or less of sick leave in a payroll year shall have twelve (12) hours of additional sick leave credited to their account for the next year;
C. Employees who use four (4) days or less of sick leave in a payroll year shall have eight (8) hours of additional sick leave credited to their account for the next year. Such incentive sick leave shall be subject to all rules, regulations and restrictions as normally earned sick leave, except as provided below.
D. Incentive sick leave may be used only after all regular sick leave has been used.
E. Incentive sick leave may not be cashed out or applied to the payment of health care premiums pursuant to Section 13.2 above.
F. If an employee is absent from work due to an on-duty injury or illness or a leave of absence, for thirty (30) days or more, the amount of incentive sick leave that can be potentially earned will be proportionally reduced.
G. To be eligible for incentive sick leave in a given payroll year, an employee must have been appointed to a rank covered by this Agreement prior to January 1st of said payroll year.
H. Any sick leave benefits used by officers for any illness or injury covered by the State Industrial Insurance and Medical Aid Acts will (1) not be counted as sick leave used for purposes of computing whether an employee is entitled to the incentive provided herein; and (2) will first be subtracted from the separate balance of incentive sick leave existing under this Article before any deductions are made from the officer's regular sick leave account.
Sick Leave Incentive. An employee with perfect attendance for a six month period (no sick leave, no worker compensation lost time, no leave without pay, no unauthorized absence, leave or no other no-pay status), shall receive a $300 payment for the six month period (prorated for part time). The six month period will be a rolling period.
Sick Leave Incentive. At the end of each school year, each teacher will receive sick leave incentive based upon the following number of maximum days absent: 0 days of absence per year - $500.00 1 day of absence per year - 400.00 2 days of absence per year - 300.00 3 days of absence per year - 200.00
4.01.8.1 The maximum cost to the Board shall be no more than $36,000 per school year.
4.01.8.2 If the total amount due goes above the $36,000 cap, the incentive increments shall be prorated.
4.01.8.3 For purposes of this incentive, increments of less than one (1) sick day will be counted as a whole day (i.e., 1-3/4 days = 2 days).
4.01.8.4 Part-time employees will receive an incentive payment in proportion to their full time equivalent (FTE).
Sick Leave Incentive. After completion of one full year of service, employees who use twenty four (24) hours or less (25 hours in 2021) of sick leave each payroll year (defined as the year that ends at the end of the last full pay period in December where the pay day is also in December) may receive cash payment for up to 24 hours (25 hours in 2021) of the accumulated unused sick leave during the month of January of the following year. The sick leave shall be paid at the employees then existing rate of pay. Days not paid for or taken may be used in the future, or paid at separation in accordance with Article 22B Sick Leave Payoff. Eligible sick leave for 2020 will be paid as provided in this paragraph (which will be paid in January 2021). Effective for sick leave accrued in calendar year 2021 and every year thereafter, If an employee wants to cash out sick leave (because he/she has used twenty- five (25) hours of sick leave or less), he/she must comply with the following: By December 15 (the first year being 2020) of each year, employees may make an irrevocable election to cash out up twenty-five (25) hours of sick leave which will be earned in the following calendar year. If the irrevocable election is not made, the employee will not have any of his/her sick leave cashed out in January of the year after it was accrued.
Sick Leave Incentive. Employees who do not use sick leave, or leave without pay, during the period of August 15-January 15, or the period of January 16 - June 16, and who are available for work throughout the period, shall receive a $50 attendance incentive payment for either or both of the periods or the following program in 15.5. [See Section
Sick Leave Incentive. Upon termination of employment by resignation and retirement, certified teachers with 1-10 (2014-15) years of employment with Xxxxx Public Schools shall receive a lump sum benefit equal to his/her accumulated and unused sick leave at the rate of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per day. (2014-15) Beginning 2012-13 upon resignation from the district or qualifying for Oklahoma Teacher’s Retirement, certified teachers shall receive a lump sum benefit equal to his/her accumulated and unused sick leave up to 120 days at the following rates: For teachers with 11 to 19 complete years of employment with Xxxxx Public Schools a rate of $40.00 per day (2014-15); For teachers with 20 to 24 complete years of employment with Xxxxx Public Schools a rate of $45.00 per day(2014-15); For teachers with 25 or more complete years of employment with Xxxxx Public Schools a rate of $50.00 per day; (2014-15) Only sick leave days earned while in the employment of Xxxxx Public Schools will be eligible for the sick leave incentive. Sick leave days transferred from another school district shall be utilized prior to sick leave days earned in the employment of Xxxxx Public Schools. (2008-09)
Sick Leave Incentive. Any employee who uses zero (0) sick-leave days shall be credited with five (5) additional days the following year. Any employee who uses one (1) sick leave day shall be credited with three (3) additional days.

The incentive will be calculated and monitored by the Human Resources Department and will be based on the pay periods during a calendar year. The City will pay each member using between zero (0) and sixteen (16) hours of sick leave, eight (8) hours pay and any member using more than sixteen (16) but equal to or less than twenty-four (24) hours, four (4) hours pay. The sick leave incentive shall no longer be in effect as of August 19, 2021 and therefore no payment will be made in January 2022.
Sick Leave Incentive. Union represented employees with a minimum of one (1) year full-time or part-time budgeted regular, and job share status employment shall be eligible for an annual payment of $300, if their sick leave utilization for the calendar year (prior 12 months) is three equivalent regular work days or less. The payment shall be calculated after the first pay period ending in December. It will be paid on the second pay period ending in December. Union represented employees who have five (5) years consecutive sick leave incentive eligibility shall be entitled to a $200 increased sick leave incentive for a total sick leave incentive of $500 annually to be calculated after the first pay period ending in December and paid on the second pay period ending in December.
