SICK LEAVE ORDINANCE. 422. San Francisco Administrative Code, Chapter 12W, Paid Sick Leave Ordinance is expressly waived in its entirety with respect to employees covered by this agreement. III.X. PARENTAL RELEASE TIME 423. Upon proper advance notification, employees may be granted up to 40 hours Parental Leave – two hours of which will be paid leave each semester – each year to participate in the activities of a school or licensed child day care facility of the employee’s biological, adopted or xxxxxx child or a child for whom the employee has parental or child rearing responsibilities (including a grandchild or child of a domestic partner) and who is residing in the employee’s household. Parental Leave shall not exceed eight hours in any calendar month of the year.
