Common use of Signal Helper Clause in Contracts

Signal Helper. An employee assigned to assist other Signal employees specified herein. A signal helper when working alone, or two or more signal helpers working together may perform such work as cleaning and oiling interlocking plants, bonding tracks, renewing primary batteries, excavating and handling material, but shall not be required to do work recognized as distinctively Signal Maintainers’ or Signal Mechanics’ work.
