Signal Retiming for Safety. The Traffic Operations office is responsible for the implementation of the FL-SHSP. The district believes that signal retiming process, due to its potential for enhancing traffic safety and improving traffic flow, is instrumental in addressing the emphasis areas of the FL-SHSP, specifically intersection crashes. The primary objective of signal retiming is to improve the safety and mobility of the street system by processing traffic through intersections safely and efficiently. A traffic signal that is properly designed and timed can be expected to reduce the frequency and severity of certain crash types. As part of this assignment, the consultant shall complete the following five steps consistent with the procedures and guidelines outlined in the FDOT Traffic Engineering Manual, MUTCD, FHWA Traffic Signal Timing Manual, and ITE Traffic Signal Timing Manual. Although these steps indicate the typical signal timing process, the consultant shall develop signal timing plans that are consistent with the policies, procedures and preferences of the respective signal maintaining agencies.   • System for Award Management (XXX) Requirement Alongside a signed copy of this Agreement, Grantee will provide Florida Housing with a XXX.xxx proof of registration and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) number. Grantee will continue to maintain an active XXX registration with current information at all times during which it has an active award under this Agreement.

  • Quality of Service Contractor shall perform its services with care, skill, and diligence, in accordance with the applicable professional standards currently recognized by such profession, and shall be responsible for the professional quality, technical accuracy, completeness, and coordination of all reports, designs, drawings, plans, information, specifications, and/or other items and services furnished under this Agreement. Contractor shall, without additional compensation, correct or revise any errors or deficiencies immediately upon discovery in its reports, drawings, specifications, designs, and/or other related items or services.

  • Switching System Hierarchy and Trunking Requirements For purposes of routing PNG traffic to Verizon, the subtending arrangements between Verizon Tandem Switches and Verizon End Office Switches shall be the same as the Tandem/End Office subtending arrangements Verizon maintains for the routing of its own or other carriers’ traffic (i.e., traffic will be routed to the appropriate Verizon Tandem subtended by the terminating End Office serving the Verizon Customer). For purposes of routing Verizon traffic to PNG, the subtending arrangements between PNG Tandem Switches and PNG End Office Switches shall be the same as the Tandem/End Office subtending arrangements that PNG maintains for the routing of its own or other carriers’ traffic.

  • Rectification of Safety Hazard Where, because of the existence of a safety hazard, a site has been stopped for a defined period of time and Employees sent off site by agreement between Site Managers and any combination of Union Official/s, Health and Safety Committee, those people who remain on site to do rectification work will be paid at the rate of double time for all such work.

  • Quality of Services (a) The Consultant shall be responsible for the professional quality, technical accuracy, and the coordination of all designs, drawings, specifications, and other services furnished pursuant to this Agreement. (b) To that end, the Consultant shall correct or shall revise, without additional compensation, any errors or omissions in its work product or shall make such revisions as are necessary as the result of the failure of the Consultant to provide an accurate, more efficient, and properly constructable product in its designs, drawings, specifications, or other services. (c) The County's review/approval/acceptance of or payment for the services required by this Agreement shall NOT be construed to operate as a waiver of any rights or of any cause of action arising out of the performance of this Agreement. Additionally, the Consultant shall be and remain liable to the County in accordance with applicable law for all damages to the County caused by the Consultant's negligent performance of any of the services furnished under this Agreement. (d) The rights and remedies of the County provided for under this Agreement are in addition to any other rights and remedies otherwise provided by law.

  • REPORTING FOR WORK The Parties are committed to delivering value for paid time. Accordingly, (a) Unless some other reporting location is designated by the Employer, employees shall be in attendance at their work station and prepared to commence work at the scheduled starting time for their respective shifts. (b) Employees shall be diligent in respecting start times, shift completion times, lunch periods and rest break periods.

  • Electrical appliance safety The Hirer shall ensure that any electrical appliances brought by them to the premises and used there shall be safe, in good working order, and used in a safe manner in accordance with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. Where a residual circuit breaker is provided the hirer must make use of it in the interests of public safety.

  • Loop Testing/Trouble Reporting 2.1.6.1 Telepak Networks will be responsible for testing and isolating troubles on the Loops. Telepak Networks must test and isolate trouble to the BellSouth portion of a designed/non-designed unbundled Loop (e.g., UVL-SL2, UCL-D, UVL-SL1, UCL-ND, etc.) before reporting repair to the UNE Customer Wholesale Interconnection Network Services (CWINS) Center. Upon request from BellSouth at the time of the trouble report, Telepak Networks will be required to provide the results of the Telepak Networks test which indicate a problem on the BellSouth provided Loop. 2.1.6.2 Once Telepak Networks has isolated a trouble to the BellSouth provided Loop, and had issued a trouble report to BellSouth on the Loop, BellSouth will take the actions necessary to repair the Loop if a trouble actually exists. BellSouth will repair these Loops in the same time frames that BellSouth repairs similarly situated Loops to its End Users. 2.1.6.3 If Telepak Networks reports a trouble on a non-designed or designed Loop and no trouble actually exists, BellSouth will charge Telepak Networks for any dispatching and testing (both inside and outside the CO) required by BellSouth in order to confirm the Loop’s working status. 2.1.6.4 In the event BellSouth must dispatch to the end-user’s location more than once due to incorrect or incomplete information provided by Telepak Networks (e.g., incomplete address, incorrect contact name/number, etc.), BellSouth will xxxx Xxxxxxx Networks for each additional dispatch required to repair the circuit due to the incorrect/incomplete information provided. BellSouth will assess the applicable Trouble Determination rates from BellSouth’s FCC or state tariffs.

  • Temperature Measurement Temperature will be measured by the nearest automatic Melbourne Bureau of Meteorology Monitoring Station for example (but not limited to): Melbourne, Moorabbin, Dunns Hill, Melbourne Airport, Frankston, and Point Xxxxxx. At the commencement of each project, the onsite management and employee representatives shall agree which is to be the applicable automatic weather monitoring station.
