Term of Protection Initial registration, and each renewal of registration, of a trademark shall be for a term of no less than seven years. The registration of a trademark shall be renewable indefinitely.
Xxxxxx of Proof The burden of proof with respect to SBE status and/or Good Faith Efforts shall be on the Agency-Assisted Contractor and/or Contractor. The burden of proof as to all other alleged breaches by the Agency-Assisted Contractor and/or Contractor shall be on the Agency.
SAFETY AND PROTECTION OF PROPERTY The Contractor shall at all times:
Compliance with Data Protection Laws Data Controller shall comply with all of its obligations under Data Protection Laws when Processing Personal Data.
COMPLIANCE WITH OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH By submission of a bid in response to this solicitation, the Bidder certifies that all material, equipment, etc., contained in their bid meets all OSHA requirements. Bidder further certifies that if they are the awarded Contractor, and the material, equipment, etc., delivered is subsequently found to be deficient in any OSHA requirements in effect on date of delivery, all costs necessary to bring the material, equipment, etc., into compliance with the aforementioned requirements shall be borne by the Contractor.
Compliance with Civil Rights Laws The Contractor hereby assures that it will comply with Subchapter VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 USC Sections 2000 (e) (1) through 2000 (e) (17), to the end that no person shall, on the grounds of race, creed, color, sex, religion, ancestry, age, condition of physical handicap, marital status, political affiliation, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under this Contract or under any project, program, or activity supported by this Contract. Interim Measures of Protection A Tribunal may order an interim measure of protection to preserve the rights of a disputing party, or to facilitate the conduct of arbitral proceedings, including an order to preserve evidence in the possession or control of a disputing party. A Tribunal may not order attachment or enjoin the application of the measure alleged to constitute a breach referred to in paragraph 1 of Article 76.
Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act The Supplier acknowledges that the City is subject to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (British Columbia), which imposes significant obligations on the City’s contractors to protect all personal information acquired from the City in the course of providing any service to the City.
Staff Protection A. The District shall protect certificated employees acting within the scope of their employment by purchasing liability insurance in the amount of at least five million dollars ($5,000,000) per occurrence, and the District shall include the certificated employees as named insured under the liability insurance and errors and omissions policy of the school district.
