Compliance with Civil Rights Laws. The Contractor hereby assures that it will comply with Subchapter VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 USC Sections 2000 (e) (1) through 2000 (e) (17), to the end that no person shall, on the grounds of race, creed, color, sex, religion, ancestry, age, condition of physical handicap, marital status, political affiliation, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under this Contract or under any project, program, or activity supported by this Contract. The Contractor shall comply with Exhibit D - Contractor’s EEO Certification.

Compliance with Civil Rights Laws. CONTRACTOR hereby assures that it will comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1973, where applicable, and Title 43, Part 17 of the Code of Federal Regulations Subparts A and B, to the end that no persons shall on the grounds of race, creed, color, national origin, political affiliation, marital status, sex, age, or handicap be subjected to discrimination under the privileges and use granted by this Contract or under any project, program or activity supported by this Contract.
Compliance with Civil Rights Laws. ‌ 8.7.1 Subrecipient hereby assures that it will comply with Subchapter VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (as amended) [Title 42 United States Code Sections 2000e (1) - 2000e (17), Title 42 United States Code Section 2000d and Title 45 Code of Federal Regulations Part 80] and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990, to the end that no person shall, on the grounds of race, creed, color, sex, religion, ancestry, age, condition of physical handicap, marital status, political affiliation, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under this Subaward or under any project, program, or activity supported by this Subaward. Subrecipient shall comply with Exhibit D (Subrecipient's Equal Employment Opportunity Certification). Prior to the commencement of this Subaward, Subrecipient shall submit the completed Exhibit D to County's Contract Manager in the time and manner as designated by County. 8.7.2 Notwithstanding any other provision of law and pursuant to the requirements outlined in California Public Contract Code Section 10295.3, when the Maximum Subaward Sum is one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) or more, Subrecipient shall not discriminate in the provision of benefits between employees with spouses and employees with domestic partners, or discriminate between employees with spouses or domestic partners of a different sex and employees with spouses or domestic partners of the same sex, or discriminate between same-sex and different-sex domestic partners of employees or between same sex and different-sex spouses of employees. For purposes of this Subparagraph 8.7.2, "subaward" includes subawards and contracts awarded by County to Subrecipient with a cumulative amount of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) or more for the Fiscal Year or Program Year (where the subaward or contract funds originate from the State). 8.7.3 Subrecipient shall ensure compliance with the requirements of California Public Contract Code Section 2010 by submitting a completed California Civil Rights Laws Certification as directed by County and as a condition of executing this Subaward. The California Civil Rights Laws Certification ensures Subrecipient's compliance with the Xxxxx Civil Rights Act (California Civil Code Section 51) and the Fair Employment and Housing Act (California Government Code Section 12960), and further ensures that Subrecipient's internal policies are not used in vio...
