Social Employment. Opportunities As a part of the Joint Management Committee, the Ministry and BRI agree to use their commercially reasonable efforts to pilot and, if feasible, establish one or more partnerships with community organizations involved in creating employment opportunities for disadvantaged individuals in a manner that will also assist in improving Return Rates. Final design of, and decision to proceed with, any initiative in this area will require the approval of both the Ministry and BRI in their respective sole discretions. The Ministry and BRI will use commercially reasonable efforts to accomplish this by December 31, 2018.   • Casual Employment (a) A casual employee is an employee engaged as such on an hourly basis.

  • Re-employment An employee who resigns her position and within sixty (60) days is re-employed, shall be granted a leave of absence without pay covering those days absent and shall retain all previous rights in relation to seniority and other fringe benefits subject to any benefit plan eligibility requirements.
