Social Events. Receptions, technical tours, pre- and post-Congress trips, and a social programme shall be arranged by The Host. As a minimum, The Host shall provide complimentary access to a Welcome Reception and Exhibitors Reception for all participants and accompanying persons. Other social events may be offered as complimentary or at a reasonable fee. It is recommended that the fee for exhibition space include an allocation to support the Exhibitors Reception.
Social Events. Social events that wish to take place on the gym floor are permitted if space is available.
Social Events. The Club will schedule at least 1 social event per month for the purpose of providing additional opportunities for commingling of members. Items may be voted on at these meetings as long as the items for vote are e-mailed to all members 30 days prior to the event. The dates of the social events will be posted on the Club website. The annual meeting may take the place of the social event for that month.

The Host Organisation will: contact the local Visitor and Convention Bureau or Conference Centre for suggestions for social events and trips, research local tour operators, visit venues and attractions and request tours from locals who are ‘in the know’, identify all social events to be offered by the conference, including spousal programmes, determine which events will require registration, implement a registration procedure for social events, etc.
Social Events. Accepts that an integral part of hosting international students is to provide encouragement and support. From time to time this may be expressed through the supportive attendance of social events such as school concerts, prize giving, parent evenings etc.
Social Events. Language Specialists are encouraged to participate in the social events sponsored by CELCIS, and shall attend the new student reception at the start and graduation at the end of each semester and session in which they have a regular teaching assignment, when possible.
