SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT STAFFING. As a result of adaptive response configurations or other operational requirements, some equipment, including but not limited to wildland firefighting equipment, HazMat equipment and other support vehicles, may have less than three (3) personnel when placed in service. ACFD is committed to continue the practice of assigning an Engineer to operate a Type III Apparatus whenever that piece of equipment has been placed in service.
