Special Incentives. The Guild acknowledges that lateral custody officers hired by the Lynnwood Police Department, after ratification of the contract by the City and the Guild, will receive a five thousand dollar ($5,000) incentive. One thousand dollars ($1,000) will be paid upon successful completion of the field training program (FTO). One thousand dollars ($1,000) will be paid upon successful completion of probation. The remaining three thousand dollars ($3,000) will be paid upon successful completion of their second year of service. Lateral custody officers are only eligible to participate in the incentive program once. Lateral custody officers will be credited with vacation accrual consistent with their prior experience up to seven (7) years of service.
