Special Needs Routes. 1. The Supervisor of Transportation will confer with each driver/transportation assistant who selects a special needs route. The purpose of the conference will be to define problems, share medical information and discuss difficulties the person may encounter and to ensure that the person fully understands the responsibilities he/she will be assuming. 2. Each driver/transportation assistant who selects a special needs route will be required to participate in student behavior management training in-service program(s).
