Common use of Special performance review Clause in Contracts

Special performance review. A supervisor may at any time, with the approval of the responsible department head, issue to an employee a Notice of Commendation, a Notice of Unsatisfactory Service, or a Notice of Satisfactory Service. Such notices shall be made on prescribed forms and shall set forth, when required, specific reasons for recognition of outstanding, unsatisfactory, or satisfactory service by the employee. They shall be delivered to the employee personally by the supervisor. A copy of such notice shall be placed in the employee’s personnel record and shall be available for review in connections with promotional examinations.
