Specialized Skills. Each certificated support person demonstrates in his/her performance a competent level of skill and knowledge in designing and conducting specialized programs of prevention, instruction, remediation and evaluation. Indicators: a. Make appropriate use of information in cumulative folders and other District records. b. Make appropriate contacts and consultations with support personnel, employees, physicians, and/or therapists to assess the child’s therapy history. c. Inform parents and employees of the special program of instruction and services for each child, and generate support and cooperation for such programs. d. Select and provide service materials and programs which are appropriate, timely, and well planned. e. Maintain appropriate records of all contacts and make this information available when appropriate.
