Specific Rate of Compensation Contract. The subconsultant is being hired to perform professional services in connection with the Project as set forth herein. In consideration for the _ services rendered by the subconsultant, the Consultant shall pay to the subconsultant the Fee, to be determined according to the labor and activity rates as set forth in Section 3, Fees and Payment. The Fee includes compensation for any cost to be incurred by the subconsultant, and the subconsultant shall not be reimbursed for costs incurred outside of the agreed-upon Fee. The Subconsultant shall bear the costs, and resulting risks, of performing this Agreement. 3.1. Under no circumstances shall the Department be liable for any amounts, including all costs, which exceed the Contract Ceiling Price.

  • Rate of Compensation In lieu of direct compensation for all overtime, shift work and standby (as defined in Articles 16, 17 and 18 of this Agreement), regular full-time employees shall receive a special compensation of 7% of their basic salary earned for each calendar year.
