A designated contractual workday for full-time instructional academic employees shall be defined as the individual workload assignments made in accordance with the criteria set forth in Article VII (Terms and Conditions) Section C above. In addition, instructional academic employees are expected to attend scheduled activities, perform departmental duties assigned by the Unit Administrator, conduct academic advisory functions, and observe regular office hours. A faculty member unable to attend a divisional or departmental meeting will give notice to the appropriate Unit Administrator and as feasible may work with the Unit Administrator to arrange for virtual attendance.
