e) During the progress of the job, the contractor shall keep a careful record at the job site of all changes and corrections from the details shown on the drawings. The contractor shall enter such changes and corrections on contract drawings promptly, but in no case later than on a weekly basis. The record drawings shall indicate, in addition to all changes and corrections, the actual location of all subsurface utility lines in order that the location of these lines and the appurtenances may be determined in the event the surface openings or indicators become covered or obscured. The record drawings shall show by offset dimensions two permanently fixed surface features at the end of each run including each change in direction. The average depth below the surface of each run shall also be recorded. At the time of beneficial occupancy of each structure or facility involved under this contract, the contractor shall submit to the contracting officer as-built prints showing the aforementioned data. If the contractor fails to maintain the record drawings as required herein, the contracting officer will deduct from the monthly progress payment an amount representing the estimated monthly cost of maintaining the record drawings and will continue deduction of the 10% retainage even after completion of the contract. In addition, final payment with respect to separately placed facilities or the contract as a whole will be withheld until proper as-built drawings have been furnished to the contracting officer.

Nevertheless, with regard to materials that qualify as "Or Equal", Contractor may request, and Owner may authorize, use of such "Or Equal" materials, in writing. In the event Contractor, or its Subcontractors at any tier, uses materials, supplies, goods or processes not permitted by the specifications incorporated into or drawings or authorized by Owner, Contractor shall be obligated to remove and replace such materials, at the request of Owner, at no cost to Owner. This clause is in addition to Owner's other remedies as provided herein.
C. All lists, rules, regulations and standards referred to in this Agreement are intended recognized as requirements of this Agreement. When American Society of Testing Materials (ASTM) Specifications are referred to, it is understood to include everything requisite and necessary to complete the entire work properly, notwithstanding the fact mean that every item necessarily involved may not be specifically mentioned.

(7d) The data sheet equipment numbers are contractor shall submit to the contracting officer for approval, with such promptness as to cause no delay in the contractor’s own work or in that of any other contractor, copies of all shop or installation drawings and schedules required for the work of the various trades called for under the various headings of the specifications. Base Lines and Grades\MThe Contractor shall lay out its work from L3Harris established lines and benchmarks indicated on the drawings or established by L3Harris, and shall be responsible for all measurements in connection with the layout. The Contractor shall furnish, at its own expense, all stakes, templates, platforms, equipment, tools, materials, and labor required to lay out any part of the work. The Contractor shall be responsible for executing the work to the lines and grades that may be established or indicated by L3Harris. The Contractor shall also be responsible for maintaining and preserving all stakes and other marks established by L3Harris until authorized to remove them. If such marks are destroyed by the Contractor or through the Contractor's negligence before their removal is authorized, L3Harris may replace them and deduct the expense of the replacement from any amount due or to become due to the Contractor.
f. Special Shop Drawings\MWhenever required by the specifications, the Contractor shall make special or detailed shop drawings in amplification of the drawings referred to in this Contract, or in furtherance of the specifications before proceeding with the work. Such drawings shall be submitted to L3Harris in duplicate, and in such format as L3Harris may prescribe. Such drawings shall (3i) reflect the Contract number, (ii) show in detail the proposed fabrication and assembly of structural elements, and (iii) in detail show the installation (i.e., form, fit, and attachment details) of materials of equipment. Such drawings shall include such diagrams, layouts, schematics, descriptive literature, illustrations, schedules, performance and test data, and similar materials furnished by the Contractor to completely explain in detail the specific portion of work required by this Contract.
g. It is understood that all special shop drawings shall be reviewed by the Contractor prior to submitting, in duplicate to L3Harris for approval, for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Contract requirements and shall indicate the Contractor's approval on each drawing as evidence of such coordination and review. Any drawings submitted to L3Harris without evidence of the Contractor's approval shall be returned for resubmission. L3Harris will indicate an approval or disapproval of the shop drawings and if not approved as submitted shall indicate L3Harris' reasons therefore. Any work done before such approval shall be at the Contractor's risk. Approval by L3Harris shall not relieve the Contractor from responsibility for any errors or omissions in such drawings, or from responsibility for complying with the requirements of this Contract.
h. It is further understood that the approval by L3Harris of the Contractor's drawings, whether general or detailed, is a general approval relating only to their sufficiency and compliance with the intention of the Contract and shall not excuse or constitute a waiver of errors, discrepancies, or omissions, or of detailed requirements. When a drawing has been approved the Contractor shall furnish L3Harris with four (4) additional prints with the tracing or a reproducible print. If a tracing is submitted, L3Harris will make such prints as are required and will return the tracing to the Contractor. All drawings shall become the property of L3Harris, and L3Harris shall be entitled, without further payment or liability to the Contractor and without further permission, to use such drawings and to reproduce them; provided, however, the use of such drawings shall not imply a license to L3Harris under any patent and shall not be construed as affecting the scope of any license otherwise granted to L3Harris under any patent.
i. The specifications and drawings may identify and Contractor shall furnish to L3Harris four (4) complete sets of certified shop drawings, a complete list quantities of items materials to be furnished used, fabrication and welding procedures, specifications, and any applicable standards and shall receive L3Harris written approval of the drawings or specifications, as noted, before starting fabrication. All required corrections shall be made and current shop drawings shall be submitted for approval prior to commencing fabrication.
j. Approvals of shop drawings shall not relieve the Contractor from responsibility of producing completed and installed by Sellerwork in strict conformance with the drawings, specifications, Contractor's approved drawings and specifications, and applicable codes and regulations. These identifications may be incomplete and L3Harris will not assume the quantities are estimates only. Seller is responsible responsibility for furnishing searching out deviations in the items and quantities manifestly necessary to carry out the intent of the Contractor's shop drawings and specifications.

SPECIFICATIONS AND DRAWINGS. General Provisions 40 (Performance of Work by the Contractor) is supplemented as follows.
(a) Seller Six (6) sets of contract drawings and specifications along with one (1) set of reproducibles will be furnished to the contractor after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The reproducible drawings shall be used in the preparation of "As-Built" drawings which shall show all revisions made as a result of contract modifications. This set of reproducibles shall be furnished by the number of contractor upon contract completion. See as-built drawings and specifications specified in Division One at no costparagraph for further information.
(b) Seller The contractor shall keep on the work site a copy check all drawings immediately upon receipt. Drawings shall not be scaled. Large scale drawings shall in general govern over small scale drawings. On any of the drawings where a portion of the work is drawn out and specifications the remainder is shown in outline, the parts drawn out shall apply also to all other like portions of the work. Schedules on the drawings shall take precedence over conflicting drawing information.
(c) The contractor shall submit, for approval, at least four (4) sets of shop drawings in accordance with Additional General Provisions 17 (Specifications and Drawings for Construction). ANTHC will retain three (3) sets of the submittal for ANTHC files. Shop drawings, coordination drawings and equipment schedules shall be submitted within fourteen (14) calendar days after date of receipt of Notice to Proceed or according to the approved submittal schedule.
(d) Prior to submission of shop drawings on the mechanical and electrical work, the contractor shall submit lists of mechanical and electrical equipment and materials as required by the specifications, and shall at all times give Company access theretoobtain the Project Manager's approval thereof. Anything mentioned in Drawings and schedules shall be delivered to the Project Manager, unless otherwise directed.
(e) Material and equipment submittals as required by the specifications and not shown on drawings shall be made in at least four (4) copies, three (3) of which will be retained by ANTHC.
(f) As soon as possible after the issuance of the Notice to Proceed, the contractor shall submit composite drawings, as specified, showing coordination of mechanical and electrical work with structural and architectural work. The composite drawing shall be in detail to show overall dimensions of duct work, piping, conduit and related items and clearances between structural members, lighting, ceilings, and related architectural features. The drawings should indicate any conflicts or clearance problems between the various trades. Installation of work prior to submission of these drawings, or shown on failure to point out such conflicts or clearance problems in the drawings and not mentioned will be at the contractor's risk. Composite drawings shall be submitted where appropriate or where called for in the technical specifications, .
(g) The contractor shall be of like effect as if shown or mentioned in both. In case of difference between submit all drawings and specificationsschedules in advance of construction requirements to permit approval and checking, the specifications shall govern. Within the specifications, Division One shall govern. In case of discrepancy in the figures, in the drawings, or in the remainder of the specifications, the matter shall be promptly submitted to the Technical Project Officer and the Procurement Officer, who shall promptly make a determination in writing. Any adjustment by Seller without such a determination shall be at its own risk and expense. Company shall furnish from time to time such detailed appropriate action.
(h) The approval drawings and other information as considered necessaryschedules will be general, unless otherwise provided.but approval shall not be construed:
(1) The drawings and specifications incorporated into this Agreement are intended to include everything requisite and necessary to complete As permitting any departure from the entire work properly, notwithstanding the fact that every item necessarily involved may not be specifically mentioned.contract requirements;
(2) Omissions from As relieving the drawings or specifications or the misdescription of details of work that are manifestly necessary to carry out the intent contractor of the drawings and specificationsresponsibility for any errors, or that are customarily performedincluding details dimensions, shall not relieve Seller from performing such omitted or misdescribed details of the workmaterials, but they shall be performed as if fully and correctly set forth and described in the drawings and specificationsetc.;
(3) The specifications and drawings may identify and list quantities of items to be furnished and installed by Seller. These identifications may be incomplete and the quantities are estimates only. Seller is responsible for furnishing the items and quantities manifestly necessary to carry out the intent of the drawings and specifications.
(4) The drawings As approving departure from details furnished by Company arethe Project Manager, in general, to scale. Scales shown on a microfilmed reproduced drawing change in proportion to the reduction of the drawing from original size. Figured dimensions shall always be followed and the drawings not scaledexcept as otherwise provide herein.
(5) Prior to fabricating any item (structural steel, piping, ductwork, etc.), Seller shall field-verify all dimensions critical to the installation. Any discrepancies between existing or new conditions and the drawings shall be reported to Company for resolution.
(6) The specifications are divided into sections for convenience only, and such sections do not define or establish the limits of work of any subcontractor. It is Seller's responsibility to define lower-tier subcontractors' limits of work and to ensure that all lower-tier subcontractors and suppliers at whatever level are familiar with all provisions of this Agreement that may affect their work.
(7) The data sheet equipment numbers are not unique. Multiple pieces of equipment may utilize the same number. Seller shall determine the quantity of equipment and material needed to complete the work.
