Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP). Minimum Support- From a pool described of twenty-eight (28) hours per day of SLPA and/or paraeducator time, for every three (3) students over a caseload of 47 students, a SLP shall be guaranteed five (5) hours per week of SLPA and/or paraeducator time, which at the SLP’s discretion, may be contributed back to the pool. Any remaining hours from the pool will be determined through a conversation between the SLP department and the Executive Director of Special Services. If caseload for SLPs exhaust the twenty-eight (28) hours of pooled SLPA/paraeducator time per day (one hundred and forty (140) hours per week), those SLPs qualifying for relief may be offered additional hours (SLPA/paraeducator hours) or an honorarium of one hundred fifty dollars ($150) per month for every three students exceeding the pooled hours. The choice of additional hours or honorarium will be determined by the employee. If an SLP has an individual caseload that exceeds fifty-six (56) students a meeting shall be convened as soon as is reasonable to discuss the SLP’s caseload and possible assistance or remedies, which may include but is not limited to collaborative redistribution of caseloads between SLPs. The meeting participants shall minimally include the affected SLP, Deputy Superintendent (or designee) and the Association President.   • Traditional Medicine Cooperation 1. The aims of Traditional Medicine cooperation will be: (a) to build on existing agreements or arrangements already in place for Traditional Medicine cooperation; and (b) to promote information exchanges on Traditional Medicine between the Parties. 2. In pursuit of the objectives in Article 149 (Objectives), the Parties will encourage and facilitate, as appropriate, the following activities, including, but not limited to: (a) encouraging dialogue on Traditional Medicine policies and promotion of respective Traditional Medicine; (b) raising awareness of active effects of Traditional Medicine; (c) encouraging exchange of experience in conservation and restoration of Traditional Medicine; (d) encouraging exchange of experience on management, research and development for Traditional Medicine; (e) encouraging cooperation in the Traditional Medicine education field, mainly through training programs and means of communication; (f) having a consultation mechanism between the Parties' Traditional Medicine authorities; (g) encouraging cooperation in Traditional Medicine therapeutic services and products manufacturing; and (h) encouraging cooperation in research in the fields of Traditional Medicine in order to contribute in efficacy and safety assessments of natural resources and products used in health care.

  • Speech Therapy This plan covers speech therapy services when provided by a qualified licensed provider and part of a formal treatment plan for: • loss of speech or communication function; or • impairment as a result of an acute illness or injury, or an acute exacerbation of a chronic disease. Speech therapy services must relate to: • performing basic functional communication; or • assessing or treating swallowing dysfunction. See Autism Services when speech therapy services are rendered as part of the treatment of autism spectrum disorder. The amount you pay and any benefit limit will be the same whether the services are provided for habilitative or rehabilitative purposes.

  • French Language Services If the HSP is required to provide services to the public in French under the provisions of the FLSA, the HSP will be required to submit a French language services report to the Funder. If the HSP is not required to provide services to the public in French under the provisions of the FLSA, it will be required to provide a report to the Funder that outlines how the HSP addresses the needs of its local Francophone community.
