Common use of Spousal Employment Clause in Contracts

Spousal Employment. Where both spouses are employed in the bargaining unit by the District, coverage shall be limited to either one family coverage for both or dual single coverage. Employees must take dual single coverage when the spouses have no remaining dependents. In addition, one spouse (as designated to the Treasurer) shall receive a lump sum payment of $500 no later than June 30 in that school year for which coverage was waived.
