SRO disclosure of law enforcement records. For purposes of access to student records, SROs may be provided student information as needed to carry out their duties related to the school environment. SROs may disclose law enforcement records created and maintained by the SRO for the purpose of maintaining the physical security and safety of the school or the enforcement of laws. Because law enforcement records are not student records, they are not subject to the disclosure requirements of FERPA.
