Standard for documentation. (1) Requirement of electronic documentation. Contractor is required to furnish to the Owner or Owner's Representative every kind of document on paper and in electronic format. Documents, which are not required as an electronic file have to be defined in the contract. The case of not receiving an electronic document has to be considered as an unusual exception. Manuals, instructions, lists have to be provided in a format used by the Microsoft Office software tools or compatible to these tools. Drawings have to be delivered in Microstation V8 format. If the generating CAD-system is not Microstation V8, an electronic copy of the native format is additionally required. For the electronic media, the Owner will require an appropriate hand-over. The Contractor must deliver the data on a DVD-ROM.
