Common use of State Medical Director Clause in Contracts

State Medical Director. When an employee is referred to the State or Agency Medical Director by the Employer, the employee shall be provided with the reason for the referral if management determines that it is appropriate to do so. If a reason is provided, it should be communicated to the employee as soon as practical. The employee may provide information from the employee's personal health care practitioner to the State Medical Director. Prior to rendering a decision regarding an employee, the State Medical Director is encouraged to review information from the employee's health care practitioner if it has been provided.
