Status of Project Manager. In the performance of its duties and obligations under this Agreement, Project Manager is, and shall at all times during the term of this Agreement be, an independent contractor, and not an employee of County. Project Manager shall act solely as the agent of County in the performance of its duties and obligations under this Agreement. All contracts and agreements executed or entered into by Project Manager in connection with the performance of its duties and obligations under this Agreement shall be contracts and agreements on behalf of, and for the account of, County. Project Manager shall obtain County’s prior approval of such contracts and agreements.

Status of Project Manager. The Project Manager shall be the City’s representative. The Project Manager shall have authority to suspend the Work whenever such suspension may be necessary in the reasonable opinion of the Project Manager to ensure the proper execution of the Contract Documents. The Project Manager shall also have authority to reject all Work and materials that do not conform to the Contract Documents and to decide questions that arise in the execution of the Work. The Project Manager will, within a reasonable time, make decisions on all matters relating to the execution and progress of the Work.

Related to Status of Project Manager

  • Contractor Project Manager The Contractor Project Manager shall serve, from the Effective Date, as the Contractor project manager and primary Contractor representative under this Agreement. The Contractor Project Manager shall (i) have overall responsibility for managing and coordinating the performance of Contractor’s obligations under this Agreement, including the performance of all Subcontractors; and (ii) be authorized to act for and bind Contractor and Subcontractors in connection with all aspects of this Agreement. The Contractor Project Manager shall respond promptly and fully to all inquiries from the JBE Project Manager.

  • County’s Project Manager Note: The written approval of substituted A-E Key Personnel is for departmental use only and shall not be used for auditing purposes outside OC Public Works or other County department.

  • Project Manager The term “Project Manager” refers to the employee of the State who has been assigned responsibility for overseeing and managing the proper and timely implementation of the project.

  • Program Manager Owner may designate a Program Manager to administer the Project and this Contract. In lieu of a Program Manager, Design Professional may be designated to perform the role of Program Manager. The Program Manager may also be designated as the Owner’s Representative, and if no Owner’s Representative is designated, the Program Manager shall be the Owner’s Representative.
