Status Upon Return from Sabbatical Leave. a. A teacher when requesting a sabbatical leave shall indicate if he/she wishes to be restored to his/her present position upon return. In those instances when a guarantee cannot be made that the current position will be available, the Superintendent shall communicate in writing the reasons that such a guarantee is not possible. This communication will be made prior to the beginning of the sabbatical leave. b. A teacher returning from sabbatical leave shall file with the Superintendent within sixty (60) days a written report of his/her educational pursuits while on sabbatical leave and in the event the leave was granted for graduate study, a transcript from the college or university attended.
