Statutes and Regulations Applicable To This Particular Grant. SUB-RECIPIENT shall comply with all applicable requirements of state and federal laws, executive orders, regulations, program and administrative requirements, policies and any other requirements governing this particular grant program. SUB-RECIPIENT shall comply with new, amended, or revised laws, regulations, and/or procedures that apply to the performance of this Agreement. These requirements include, but are not limited to: 1. Title 2 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 200; EO 12372; Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of Judicial Programs (OJP) Office of the Comptroller, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Preparedness Directorate Financial Management Guide; U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Office of Grants and Training, FY 2020 Homeland Security Grant Program –Notice of Funding Opportunity; ODP WMD Training Course Catalogue; and DOJ Office for Civil Rights. Standardized Emergency Management System (SEMS) requirements as stated in the California Emergency Services Act, Government Code Chapter 7 of Division 1 of Title 2, § 8607.1(e) and CCR Title 19, §§ 2445-2448.   • Statutes and Regulations This lease is subject to all applicable state and federal statutes and regulations in effect on the effective date of this lease, and insofar as is constitutionally permissible, to all statutes and regulations placed in effect after the effective date of this lease. A reference to a statute or regulation in this lease includes any change in that statute or regulation whether by amendment, repeal and replacement, or other means. This lease does not limit the power of the State of Alaska or the United States of America to enact and enforce legislation or to promulgate and enforce regulations affecting, directly or indirectly, the activities of the lessee or its agents in connection with this lease or the value of the interest held under this lease. In case of conflicting provisions, statutes and regulations take precedence over this lease.

  • COMPLIANCE WITH STATUTES AND REGULATIONS a) Contractor warrants and certifies that in the performance of this Contract, it will comply with all applicable statutes, rules, regulations and orders of the United States and the State of California and agrees to indemnify the State against any loss, cost, damage or liability by reason of Contractor’s violation of this provision. b) If this Contract is in excess of $554,000, it is subject to the requirements of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Government Procurement Agreement (GPA).

  • References to Statutes, Public Acts, Regulations, Codes and Executive Orders All references in this Contract to any statute, public act, regulation, code or executive order shall mean such statute, public act, regulation, code or executive order, respectively, as it has been amended, replaced or superseded at any time. Notwithstanding any language in this Contract that relates to such statute, public act, regulation, code or executive order, and notwithstanding a lack of a formal amendment to this Contract, this Contract shall always be read and interpreted as if it contained the most current and applicable wording and requirements of such statute, public act, regulation, code or executive order as if their most current language had been used in and requirements incorporated into this Contract at the time of its execution.

  • Conformance to Applicable Laws Contractor shall comply with the standard of care regarding all applicable federal, state and county laws, rules and ordinances. Contractor shall not discriminate in the employment of persons who work under this contract because of race, the color, national origin, ancestry, disability, sex or religion of such person.

  • Compliance with Statutes, Regulations, Etc The Borrower will, and will cause each Subsidiary to, comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations and orders applicable to it or its property, including all governmental approvals or authorizations required to conduct its business, and to maintain all such governmental approvals or authorizations in full force and effect, in each case except where the failure to do so could not reasonably be expected to have a Material Adverse Effect.

  • COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS, STATUTES, REGULATIONS a) During the term of this Master Contract the CONTRACTOR and the LEA shall comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations relating to the provision of special education and related services, and facilities for individuals with exceptional needs. b) CONTRACTOR shall also comply with all applicable policies pursuant to the Local Plan, unless, taking into consideration all of the surrounding facts and circumstances, a policy or policies or a portion of a policy does not reasonably apply to CONTRACTOR. c) CONTRACTOR hereby acknowledges and agrees that it accepts all risks and responsibilities for its failure to comply with applicable LEA policies and shall indemnify LEA under the provisions of section 16 of this Master Contract for all liability, loss, damage and expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) resulting from or arising out of CONTRACTOR’s failure to comply with LEA policies. d) The CONTRACTOR shall comply with those policies, relating to among other things, the provision of special education and/or related services, facilities for individuals with exceptional needs, LEA pupil enrollment and transfer, LEA student inactive status, corporal punishment, student discipline, and positive behavior interventions.

  • File Management and Record Retention relating to CRF Eligible Persons or Households Grantee must maintain a separate file for every applicant, Eligible Person, or Household, regardless of whether the request was approved or denied. a. Contents of File: Each file must contain sufficient and legible documentation. Documents must be secured within the file and must be organized systematically.

  • Limitations Applicable to Section 16 Persons Notwithstanding any other provision of the Plan or this Agreement, if Participant is subject to Section 16 of the Exchange Act, the Plan, the Option and this Agreement shall be subject to any additional limitations set forth in any applicable exemptive rule under Section 16 of the Exchange Act (including any amendment to Rule 16b-3 of the Exchange Act) that are requirements for the application of such exemptive rule. To the extent permitted by applicable law, this Agreement shall be deemed amended to the extent necessary to conform to such applicable exemptive rule.
