Assistance Programs. The national goal for participation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) is 10%. Nashua Transit System, overall goal for DBE participation is 1.4 %. A separate contract goal has not been established for this procurement.

Vendors are required to bring their own extension cords and adhere to safety and ADA requirements. Cords must be taped securely to the ground. Any pedestrian injuries arising from Vendor extension cords are the sole responsibility of the Vendor/insurer. Vendors are responsible for disposing of their own trash. Trash is not to be left next to Market Square garbage cans or in Vendor booth space. Additional fees will be charged if trash is not removed. Cooking oil is not to be disposed of onsite. Vendors may not dump any wastewater on the ground or into drainage systems.
Assistance Programs. NFIP policyholders and survivor assistance programs, including grants and loans. For purposes of this Agreement, FEMA applicants (also known as registrants) are individuals or households who have applied for or are eligible for disaster assistance under FEMA's Individuals and Households Program (IHP).
Assistance Programs. QCC shall provide administrative support on behalf of program participants for assistance programs inasmuch as the Facility is an authorized representative or health navigator of a qualified inmate for assistance programs. This includes, but is not limited to:
a. Determining the amount of medical care expenses that can be reimbursed through Medicaid, Healthy Indiana Plan, other assistance programs, or private inmate insurance policies;
b. Interviewing program participants and collecting inmate data and necessary authorizing signatures;
c. Securing necessary outside documentation, such as birth certificates, tax returns, etc. as approved beforehand by the Executive Director;
d. Submitting inmate applications for assistance under Medicaid, or the Healthy Indiana Plan; and
e. Relaying Medicaid or other assistance program approvals or presumptive eligibility information to medical service providers for claims processing. Officers are required to notify QCC in the event of an inmate transport that results in hospital admission, when medical staff is not on site. The failure to notify QCC billing specialist can result in HIP denying to pay the claim.
