Common use of Statutory Compliance Clause in Contracts

Statutory Compliance. ‌ The Employer and employees recognize the need for a safe and healthful workplace and agree to take appropriate measures in order that risks of accidents and/or occupational disease are reduced and/or eliminated. The Employer and the Union agree to cooperate in the promotion of safe working conditions, the prevention of accidents, the prevention of workplace injuries and industrial diseases and the promotion of safe working practices. There shall be full compliance with all applicable statutes and regulations pertaining to the working environment.
