Step 1 Grievance. (a) An employee with a grievance shall first discuss the matter with the employee's immediate supervisor within fifteen (15) working days of the date the employee knew of or should have known of the matter supporting the grievance. The supervisor and the employee shall make every effort to resolve the dispute. A shop xxxxxxx will be provided if requested by the employee. (b) If the dispute is not resolved in the above oral step, the grievance may be reduced to writing and submitted by the employee/xxxxxxx within five (5) working days of the unsuccessful oral discussion. The Plant Manager will schedule a meeting with the employee/xxxxxxx within ten (10) working days upon receipt of the written grievance. A written response to the grievance will be provided to the xxxxxxx within five (5) working days of meeting between the manager and employee/xxxxxxx.
