Common use of Step Five – Arbitration Clause in Contracts

Step Five – Arbitration. If the Grievance is not resolved in Step Four of the Grievance Procedure, the Association may submit the Grievance to Arbitration. Such submission shall be made by filing a written Demand for Arbitration with the American Arbitration Association (AAA) within twenty (20) working days following the Association’s receipt of the Board’s response in Step Four. The Demand for Arbitration shall include a statement of the issues to be arbitrated and references to the specific article(s) and section(s) of the Agreement that are allegedly violated.

Step Five – Arbitration. If the Grievance answer to the grievance at step three is not resolved in Step Four of the Grievance Proceduresatisfactory, the Association may submit the Grievance grievance to Arbitration. Such submission shall be made arbitration by filing a official written Demand for Arbitration with notice to the American Arbitration Association (AAA) Human Resources Department within twenty (20) working days following the Association’s receipt of the Board’s response in Step Fourdate of the written answer to the grievance at step three. The Demand arbitrator selection process shall be conducted by the American Arbitration Association.
