Storage of Contractor’s Material. The Contractor’s materials and plant must only be stored in the location approved by TGen. If no storage facilities are available, it is the responsibility of the Contractor to provide storage facilities. All care will be taken to avoid inconvenience to persons occupying and visiting the site where the goods, services, or works are being provided.

Storage of Contractor’s Material. The Contractor may request storage of materials (e.g., tools, supplies, etc. ) at a DEP facility. If such request can be accommodated then the Engineer will direct the Contractor to a designated site. The storage space shall be kept clean and accessible to the City representatives at all times. Every precaution shall be taken to avoid damage by fire, water, etc. The City will not be responsible for the security of these materials. The Contractor’s attention is directed to the fact that there is limited area available at DEP facilities for the Contractor’s use for field offices, storage of materials, storage and maintenance of equipment, automobile parking, and other work-related uses. If available, the location of the area shall be as directed by the Engineer, and may be shared by other Contractors working at the site. Onsite parking for vehicles is also limited. The Contractor’s personnel shall comply with the site parking restrictions established by the Engineer/Plant Superintendent. The Contractor shall keep the road or path alongside the designated area for Contractors use, clean and unrestricted to passage at all times by city personnel and vehicles.

  • Selection of Subcontractors, Procurement of Materials and Leasing of Equipment The contractor shall not discriminate on the grounds of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age or disability in the selection and retention of subcontractors, including procurement of materials and leases of equipment. The contractor shall take all necessary and reasonable steps to ensure nondiscrimination in the administration of this contract.

  • Contractor’s Equipment Payment for required equipment owned by the Construction Manager or an affiliate of the Construction Manager will be based solely on an hourly rate derived by dividing the current appropriate monthly rate by 176 hours. No payment will be made under any circumstances for repair costs, freight and transportation charges, fuel, lubricants, insurance, any other costs and expenses, or overhead and profit. Payment for such equipment made idle by delays attributable to the Government will be based on one-half the derived hourly rate under this subsection.

  • Solicitations for Subcontractors, Including Procurements of Materials and Equipment In all solicitations either by competitive bidding or negotiation made by the contractor for work to be performed under a subcontract, including procurements of materials or leases of equipment, each potential subcontractor or supplier shall be notified by the contractor of the contractor's obligations under this contract and the Regulations relative to nondiscrimination on the grounds of race, color, or national origin, sex, age, and disability/handicap.

  • Services, Materials, and Equipment Unless otherwise specified, the Contractor shall provide and assume full responsibility for all services, materials, equipment, labor, transportation, construction equipment and machinery, tools, appliances, fuel, power, light, heat, telephone, water, sanitary facilities, temporary facilities, and all other facilities, incidentals, and services necessary for the construction, performance, testing, start-up, inspection and completion of the Work.

  • Project Site The “Project Site” is the place where the Work is being carried on.
