STRIKES AND WORK STOPPAGES. 18.1 In view of the orderly procedures established by this Agreement for the settling of disputes and the handling of grievances, during the life of the Agreement there will be no strike, slowdown, or stoppage of work, either complete or partial, and there will be no lock-out. All Union Representatives have a special obligation to actively discourage any work stoppage. 18.2 The Company has the right to discharge or otherwise discipline employees who take part in or instigate any strike, work stoppage or slowdown, but a claim of unjust discharge or treatment may be the subject of a grievance. 18.3 The Union will not involve the Company in any dispute which may arise between any other employer and the employees of such other employer, and will not involve any employee of the Company in such a dispute when such involvement may in any way adversely affect the Company.
