Student Academic Achievement Performance. The District Assessments will be administered each school year. Assessment data will be reviewed with students, and learning goals will be identified. Common assessments will be developed and administered to monitor student progress and track student achievement of established goals. Assessments may include the following: electronic portfolio, student-led conferences, student discipline data, ongoing teacher evaluation of student progress, quarter grade reporting, student and community surveys, Celebrations of Learning, student self-evaluations, outside feedback from Learning Expedition experts and mentors, survey to evaluate student engagement (e.g., Hope Study for Schools). Point of Discovery School will use the report card system in use by the District.
