Sub-Grantee's Insurance. The Sub-Grantee shall not commence work under this Agreement until all insurance required under this Section 9 has been obtained by the Sub- Grantee and such insurance has been approved by the City. The Sub-Grantee shall not allow any subcontractor to commence work on any subcontract until all insurance required of any such subcontractor has been so obtained and approved by the City. Insurance shall be provided by insurers that are satisfactory to the City, authorized to do business in the State of Connecticut, that have at least an "A-" Best's Rating, and are in an A.M. Best financial size category of VII or higher. The A.M. Best classifications are based on the most current A.M. Best Company ratings or an equivalent City approved rating system.

  • CONSULTANT’S INSURANCE The Consultant shall maintain the types of insurance and limits of coverage identified in Exhibit A which is attached and made part of this Contract.

  • Recipient’s Insurance The Recipient represents, warrants, and covenants that it has, and will maintain, at its own cost and expense, with insurers having a secure A.M. Best rating of B+ or greater, or the equivalent, all the necessary and appropriate insurance that a prudent person carrying out a project similar to the Project would maintain, including commercial general liability insurance on an occurrence basis for third party bodily injury, personal injury, and property damage, to an inclusive limit of not less than the amount provided for in Schedule “B” per occurrence. The insurance policy will include the following:

  • Medical Insurance for Retirees The University will make available a medical insurance plan for official retirees hired prior to January 1, 2014 in the same manner and on the same basis as applies to all the University’s other official retirees. An official retiree (including early retirees) for purposes of this benefit, will be defined as any regular employee who is employed by the University at the time of retirement, who is vested in a University sponsored retirement plan and whose years of University service and age total a minimum of 75. Coverage for the spouse of the retiree or early retiree is available on the same basis as for other University official retirees. The University retains the right to modify or terminate this plan upon reasonable notice to staff and retirees.

  • Lessee’s Insurance a. Lessee covenants to provide at Lessee's cost and expense on or before the earlier of (i) the Commencement Date, or (ii) Lessee's taking actual possession for the purpose of completing any improvement work, and to keep in full force and effect during the entire Term and so long thereafter as Lessee, or anyone claiming by, through or under Lessee, shall occupy the Premises, insurance coverage as follows:

  • Employee Insurance The County will provide the following insurance contributions on the 1st of the month following 30 (thirty) days of employment to provisional, probationary and permanent employees who elect insurance coverage: (All contributions shown for medical and dental are monthly and based on full-time employment.)

  • Renter’s Insurance (check one) ☐ Tenant is required to obtain, and maintain at all times during the Term, a renter’s insurance policy with a minimum of $100,000.00 personal liability coverage. Tenant will name Landlord as an interested party or additional insured. Tenant will provide Landlord with a certificate or proof of insurance upon request. ☐ Tenant is NOT required to obtain a renter’s insurance policy.

  • Directors and Officers Insurance The Company shall, to the extent that the Board determines it to be economically reasonable, maintain a policy of directors’ and officers’ liability insurance (“D&O Insurance”), on such terms and conditions as may be approved by the Board.

  • Bonds Insurance a. Payment Bond & Performance Bond: Contractor shall not commence the Work until it has provided to the District, a Payment (Labor and Material) Bond and a Performance Bond, in the forms attached hereto, each in an amount equivalent to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price issued by a surety admitted to issue bonds in the State of California and otherwise acceptable to the District.

  • Life Insurance Upon Retirement 34.1 An employee who retires from the service of the Corporation subsequent to August 1, 2001, will, provided he is 55 years of age or over and has not less than 10 years' cumulative compensated service, be entitled to the sum of $8,000.00, payable to his estate upon his death.

  • Separation of Insureds; No Special Limitations All insurance required by this Section shall contain standard separation of insureds provisions. In addition, such insurance shall not contain any special limitations on the scope of protection afforded to the City, its directors, officials, officers, employees, agents, and volunteers.
