Common use of Subject to Bargaining and/or Grievance Clause in Contracts

Subject to Bargaining and/or Grievance. The City is not required to bargain with the Lodge on subjects reserved to the management and direction of the Department except as such subjects would affect wages, hours, terms and conditions of employment of members, and/or the continuation, modification or deletion of an existing provision of this Contract. A member or the Lodge may raise a legitimate complaint or file a grievance based upon the Contract.
