Subletting and Assignments. Resident may not assign his/her interests under this Agreement, or sublet any portion of the Premises without prior written consent of Owner/Agent. Any attempt by Resident to assign or sublet (includes subletting through short-term rental services such airbnb®, Craigslist®, Vrbo®, Xxxxxxxx.xxx®, Xxxxxx.xxx® or other such rental services) all or any portion of Resident’s interest under this Agreement shall be considered a material violation. It shall also be deemed null and void in regard to the transfer of such interest to any person.
Subletting and Assignments. Renter shall only be permitted to sublet or assign their rental term to another individual(s) upon the written consent and approval of Agent, Agent shall be able to grant such approval according to their sole and unfettered discretion.

Notwithstanding receipt of a consent from Lessor to a subletting or assignment, Lessor and Lessee agree that Lessee shall, absent the express written release by Lessor of Lessee, still remain responsible for compliance with all the terms and conditions and the timely performance of each and every other obligation and duty, including payment of any monies due, as contained within this Lease during the pendency thereof. The collection of rent and/or any monies due from the assignee, sub-tenant, or occupant as a lessee, or release of Lessee from the further performance of the covenant herein contained.

Subletting and Assignments. 17.1 The Tenant covenants not to sell, assign, sublet or transfer or part with possession of this Sub-Lease or any portion of the Term or the Premises or any interest therein except with the prior consent of the Landlord and except as expressly provided herein, and then only to a party who covenants with the Landlord in accordance with clause 17.6 and only if such party carries on the Research Activity or other similar activity consented to by the Landlord in writing prior to such sale, subletting, assignment or other disposition. The Tenant acknowledges that before the Landlord gives its consent pursuant to this Article 17, the Landlord is required to obtain the consent of the Head Landlord, and that the Head Landlord may refuse to consent if the proposed purchaser, assignee, subtenant, transferee or occupant carries on businesses or research or is owned by a party who carries on business or research which could, in the Head Landlord’s reasonable opinion, cause a public relations problem for the Head Landlord or conflict with a Strategic Alliance that the Head Landlord has entered into.

Lessee may not sublet, assign, pledge, or mortgage this lease and may not grant licenses, commissions, or other rights of occupancy to all or any part of the leased premises without Lessor's prior written approval which all not be unreasonably withheld or delayed. Sublessee's financial strength, reputation, personnel, and length of sublease or assignment shall be important factors in Lessor's approval. Sale, transfer, or merger of the majority of the voting shares or voting partnership interests in Lessee (if a corporation or partnership) shall be considered an assignment; likewise for issuance of treasury stock or admission of a new general partner. Lessee shall have the right with prior written notice to Lessor to sublease or assign any portion or all of their premises to subsidiary or affiliated company or to any corporate successor (upon merger or consolidation) without the consent of Lessor, however, Lessee shall not be released from liability. Lessor shall be entitled to (1) 50% of any excess between Xxxxxx's rental per square foot under the lease and the rental per square foot under the sublease or assignment, and (2) 50% of any other consideration flowing directly or indirectly from the sublessee or assignee to Lessee or Lessee's agents. The forgoing is in consideration of additional management performed or to be performed by Lessor under such sublease or assignment. Violation of this lease by sublessees or assignees shall be deemed a violation by Xxxxxx. Approval by Lessor of any sublease or assignment shall not release Lessee from any obligation under this lease for all of Lessee's obligations under this lease unless otherwise specified in writing. Upon default by Xxxxxx, any Sublessee shall pay all sublease rentals and other sums due Lessor, direct to Lessor, to be credited against sums owed to Lessor by Lessee under this lease. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, no sublease or assignment shall be valid unless (1) a copy of this lease is attached thereto, (2) the sublessee or assignee agrees in writing to be liable for all of Lessee's obligations under this lease, and (3) Lessor's written approval is attached to the sublease or assignment.
Subletting and Assignments. Landlord gives consent to the Tenant to sublease to EFL. Tenant shall not assign this Lease or enter into any other sublease agreement without the prior written consent of Landlord which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld, delayed or conditioned. Any attempted assignment or sublease by Tenant without the prior written consent of Landlord is a violation of this Lease and shall be void. If Landlord shall consent to an assignment or sublease, any consent shall not be considered to be a consent to any other assignment or sublease.
