SUBMISSION OF EMPLOYEE INFORMATION. 28.1.1 A “newly hired employee” or “new hire” means any employee, whether permanent employees, temporary, full-time or part-time, hired by District and who is still employed as of the date of the new employee orientation and will be assigned to the CSEA bargaining unit. It also includes employees who are or have been previously employed by the District and whose current position has placed them in the bargaining unit represented by CSEA. For those latter employees, for purposes of this Article only, the “date of hire” is the date upon which the employee’s employment status changed such that the employee was placed in the CSEA bargaining unit.
