Substitute Demolition Methods or Procedures. If a specific means, method, technique, sequence, or procedure of demolition is shown or indicated in and expressly required by the Contract Documents, Demolition Contractor may furnish or utilize a substitute means, method, technique, sequence, or procedure of demolition approved by Architect. Demolition Contractor shall submit sufficient information to allow the Architect, in Architect's sole discretion, to determine that the substitute process, technique or procedure proposed is equivalent to that expressly called for by the Contract Documents.

  • Project Delivery Order Procedures The TIPS Member having approved and signed an interlocal agreement, or other TIPS Membership document, may make a request of the awarded vendor under this Agreement when the TIPS Member has services that need to be undertaken. Notification may occur via phone, the web, email, fax, or in person. Upon notification of a pending request, the awarded vendor shall make contact with the TIPS Member as soon as possible, but must make contact with the TIPS Member within two working days. Scheduling of projects (if applicable) may be accomplished when the TIPS Member issues a Purchase Order and/or an Agreement or Contract that will serve as “the notice to proceed” as agreed by the Vendor and the TIPS Member. The period for the delivery order will include the mobilization, materials purchase, installation and delivery, design, weather, and site cleanup and inspection. No additional claims may be made for delays as a result of these items. When the tasks have been completed the awarded vendor shall notify the client and have the TIPS Member or a designated representative of the TIPS Member inspect the work for acceptance under the scope and terms in the Purchase Order and/or Agreement or Contract. The TIPS Member will issue in writing any corrective actions that are required. Upon completion of these items, the TIPS Member will issue a completion notice and final payment will be issued per the contractual requirements of the project with the TIPS Member. Any Construction contract prepared by the TIPS Member’s Legal Counsel may alter the terms of this subsection, “Scheduling of Projects”.

  • Additional Wet Weather Procedure 14.15.1 Remaining On Site a) for more than an accumulated total of four hours of ordinary time in any one day; or b) after the meal break, as provided for in clause 17.1 of the Award, for more than an accumulated total of 50% of the normal afternoon work time; or c) during the final two hours of the normal work day for more than an accumulated total of one hour, the Enterprise will not be entitled to require the employees to remain on site beyond the expiration of any of the above circumstances.

  • Construction Methods 3.1 The Contractor shall provide all tools, equipment, materials, labor and work for the excavation and removal of the unsuitable subgrade soils and their subsequent replacement with the specified backfill soils as directed by the Owner’s representative. All work under this item shall be performed in a safe and workmanlike manner. 3.2 All work shall be performed in accordance with DelDOT Standard Specifications Section 821. 3.3 Following the removal of existing pavements, the Owner’s representative will review the exposed subgrade and provide recommendations for the undercutting of unsuitable subgrade materials as required. The depth and extent of undercut excavation, if required, will be determined by the Owner’s representative at the time of excavation. 3.4 All excavated materials shall become the property of the Contractor and be removed from the site at the completion of the project at no additional expense to the Owner. 3.5 Undercut excavations should be backfilled with graded aggregate. Backfill shall be placed in loose lifts not exceeding 8 inches thick. Each lift should be compacted with at least 3 passes of a minimum 5-ton, walk-behind or self-propelled vibratory roller when the size of the area permits, or with a vibrating plate mechanical compactor for smaller areas. Lift thickness shall be reduced to 6 inch loose lift when using a vibratory plate compactor. 3.6 The Contractor shall take precautions as necessary to minimize the potential for disturbance or softening of the pavement subgrade materials from inclement weather or construction traffic. As a minimum, this shall include the placement of backfill on the same day as the excavation. Any soft areas which develop shall be undercut and replaced with graded aggregate at no additional cost to the Owner. 3.7 Where undercutting is performed, the geotextile fabric shall be installed. The fabric should be pulled tight and lapped a minimum of 12 inches.

  • Description of Goods or Services and Additional Terms and Conditions The Contractor shall perform as set forth in Exhibit A. For purposes of this Contract, to perform and the performance in Exhibit A is referred to as “Perform” and the “Performance.”

  • Selection of Subcontractors, Procurement of Materials and Leasing of Equipment The contractor shall not discriminate on the grounds of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age or disability in the selection and retention of subcontractors, including procurement of materials and leases of equipment.   • Procedures for Providing NP Through Full NXX Code Migration Where a Party has activated an entire NXX for a single Customer, or activated at least eighty percent (80%) of an NXX for a single Customer, with the remaining numbers in that NXX either reserved for future use by that Customer or otherwise unused, if such Customer chooses to receive Telephone Exchange Service from the other Party, the first Party shall cooperate with the second Party to have the entire NXX reassigned in the LERG (and associated industry databases, routing tables, etc.) to an End Office operated by the second Party. Such transfer will be accomplished with appropriate coordination between the Parties and subject to appropriate industry lead times for movements of NXXs from one switch to another. Neither Party shall charge the other in connection with this coordinated transfer.

  • System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades Connecting Transmission Owner shall design, procure, construct, install, and own the System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades described in Appendix A hereto. The responsibility of the Developer for costs related to System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades shall be determined in accordance with the provisions of Attachment S to the NYISO OATT.

  • CERTIFICATION OF NO ASBESTOS CONTAINING MATERIALS OR WORK 8.1 The Contractor shall be responsible for ensuring that no asbestos containing materials or work is included within the scope of the Work. The Contractor shall take whatever measures it deems necessary to insure that all employees, suppliers, fabricators, material men, subcontractors, or their assigns, comply with this requirement. 8.2 The Contractor shall ensure that Texas Department of Health licensed individuals, consultants or companies are used for any required asbestos work including asbestos inspection, asbestos abatement plans/specifications, asbestos abatement, asbestos project management and third-party asbestos monitoring.

  • NETWORK INTERCONNECTION METHODS 3.1 The Interconnection provided herein may not be used solely for the purpose of originating a Party’s own interexchange traffic.
