Common use of Substitute Wage Clause in Contracts

Substitute Wage. A flat rate of one hundred thirty ($130.00) per day shall be paid to substitutes in half-day increments. Substitutes working twenty (20) consecutive days or more in the same assignment shall be appropriately placed on the certificated employee salary schedule for the duration of the assignment, retroactive to day one (1). Every effort shall be made to recruit and retain an adequate number of substitutes.
