Substitution of Vacation. Permanent classified employees with one (1) or more years of service may make a request to the Superintendent that his/her vacation leave be interrupted or terminated in order to use another type of paid leave. Such request must be based upon a serious matter such as the employee being hospitalized or bereavement. The Superintendent’s decision on the request is final.
