Subtask 8 – Network Management - FFP; O&M. The Contractor shall monitor the quality of network communications and information processing. The Contractor shall perform network configuration management to identify, control, collect data for, and provide data to, networks for the purposes of status accounting and auditing. The Contractor shall perform network fault management to detect, isolate, and correct problems in, or abnormal operation of, the network or network components. This includes performing tasks on the network or researching and analyzing information about the network provided to MNIS Division. The Contractor shall support the propagation of MPE/MNIS systems and technology to other national and international environments and locations. This will include network engineering tasks, systems drawings, site surveys, equipment procurements, communications design, and network installation, as well as ad hoc briefing and meeting participation. This shall also include supporting system capability demonstrations, evaluations, and exercise support. The Contractor shall perform support functions for the centralized management of Global Crytographic Keying Material (KEYMAT) MPE/MNIS networks at applicable locations. Support includes ability to write, review and analyze communications security (COMSEC) message traffic and documents to ensure they are in accordance with current joint COMSEC management procedures.

  • Network Management 60.1 CLEC and CenturyLink will exchange appropriate information (e.g., network information, maintenance contact numbers, escalation procedures, and information required to comply with requirements of law enforcement and national security agencies) for network management purposes. In addition, the Parties will apply sound network management principles to alleviate or to prevent traffic congestion and to minimize fraud associated with third number billed calls, calling card calls, and other services related to this Agreement.

  • Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Capability The wind plant shall provide SCADA capability to transmit data and receive instructions from the ISO and/or the Connecting Transmission Owner for the Transmission District to which the wind generating plant will be interconnected, as applicable, to protect system reliability. The Connecting Transmission Owner for the Transmission District to which the wind generating plant will be interconnected and the wind plant Developer shall determine what SCADA information is essential for the proposed wind plant, taking into account the size of the plant and its characteristics, location, and importance in maintaining generation resource adequacy and transmission system reliability in its area.
