Superannuation Contributions During Period of Parental Leave. (a) This clause applies to an employee who is entitled to at least 14 weeks paid primary caregiver leave and who takes unpaid primary caregiver parental leave during the first 12 months of their parental leave period. (b) During the first 12 months of primary caregiver parental leave an employee will continue to receive Employer Superannuation contributions, as per relevant superannuation legislation and superannuation fund rules, on any period of unpaid primary caregiver parental leave taken. (c) The maximum amount of employer superannuation contributions provided will be equivalent to the amount of employer superannuation contributions the employee would have received had the employee not been on approved primary caregiver parental leave.
