Supervisors Working. 24.01 It is not the intention of the Company that employees outside of the Bargaining Unit shall do Bargaining Unit work except in the cases listed below. It is recognized however, that staff employees may occasionally become involved in work to a minor degree. (For example: a Supervisor may help an employee line up a pipe on a project but is not expected to actually assemble the piping.) (a) Emergencies for reason of safety or health or to prevent environmental damage or damage to property or equipment. (b) For the purpose of legitimate instruction. (c) In case of breakdowns after all reasonable efforts have been made to locate and utilize the required type of Bargaining Unit employee. (d) Experimentation, after notification to the Union in writing: (i) in different ways of doing a job. (ii) in ways of operating new or different types of equipment.
