SUPERVISORY COUNSELING. A supervisory counseling is a means of correcting or clarifying performance expectations, and is not considered a form of discipline. Supervisory counseling shall not be used in agency decisions regarding work assignments or evaluations for promotion if the supervisory counseling took place over six months previously.
