Common use of Supplemental Drivers Clause in Contracts

Supplemental Drivers. When an Employer utilizes any non-seniority supplemental driv- er(s) thirty (30) or more tours of duty in any ninety (90) consecu- tive day period, such Employer may be required to add one (1) ad- ditional driver to the seniority roster. Each driver so added shall be subject to the probationary period as provided in Article 3, Section 2 of the National Master Agreement and such period shall begin with the first (1st) trip the driver pulls after being added to the board. Such supplemental drivers, so utilized, shall be given con- sideration when adding additional employees.
