Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit. If the Executive has exercised his withdrawal rights, the Administrator may prospectively reduce the schedule provided for in Exhibit A should the Administrator determine, during any review, that such reduction is warranted in order to provide the benefit calculated pursuant to Subsection 1.26. Furthermore, should the Administrator determine that the balance of the Accrued Benefit Account be excessive for any reason, at the time benefits are payable from the Accrued Benefit Account (and Retirement Income Trust Fund) any excess balance shall be eliminated and inure to the Bank’s benefit.
Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit. The annual Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit Contributions (or Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit Phantom Contributions) required to be made by the Bank to the Retirement Income Trust Fund of the Xxxx X. Xxxxx Grantor Trust (or recorded by the Bank in the Accrued Benefit Account) have been actuarially determined and are set forth in Exhibit A which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. The amount of the annual Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit Contributions (or Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit Phantom Contributions) to the Retirement Income Trust Fund (or Accrued Benefit Account) has been based on the annual incremental accounting accruals which would be required of the Bank until the earlier of the Executive’s death or Benefit Age, (i) pursuant to APB Opinion No. 12, as amended by FAS 106 and (ii) assuming a discount rate equal to Six Percent (6%) per annum, in order to provide the unfunded, non-qualified Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit described in Subsection 1.26. Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit Contributions shall be made by the Bank to the Retirement Income Trust Fund (i) within thirty (30) days of establishment of such trust, and (ii) within the first five (5) days of the beginning of each subsequent Plan Year, unless this Section expressly provides otherwise. Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit Phantom Contributions, if any, shall be recorded in the Accrued Benefit Account within the first five (5) days of the beginning of each applicable Plan Year, unless this Section expressly provides otherwise. Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit Phantom Contributions shall accrue interest at a rate equal to the Interest Factor, during the Payout Period, until the balance of the Accrued Benefit Account has been fully distributed. Interest on any Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit Phantom Contribution shall not commence until such Payout Period commences.
Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit for accruals begun under the December 1997 Restated and Amended Executive Supplemental Retirement Income Master Agreement means an actuarially determined annual amount equal to Twenty-One Thousand One Hundred and Ninety-Two Dollars ($21,192) at age 60 if paid entirely from the Accrued Benefit Account or Fourteen Thousand Nine Hundred and Sixty-Two Dollars ($14,962) at age 60 if paid from the Retirement Income Trust Fund. Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit for accruals begun under the April 2002 Second Executive Supplemental Retirement Income Master Agreement an actuarially determined annual amount equal to One-Hundred-Six Thousand Eight Hundred and Ninety-Six Dollars ($106,896) at age 65 if paid entirely from the Accrued Benefit Account or Seventy-Five Thousand Four Hundred and Sixty-Nine Dollars ($75,469) at age 65 if paid from the Retirement Income Trust Fund. Exhibit A The Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit: ! the definition of Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit has been incorporated into the Agreement for the sole purpose of actuarially establishing the amount of annual Contributions (or Phantom Contributions) to the Retirement Income Trust Fund (or Accrued Benefit Account). The amount of any actual retirement, pre-retirement or disability benefit payable pursuant to the Agreement will be a function of (i) the amount and timing of Contributions (or Phantom Contributions) to the Retirement Income Trust Fund (or Accrued Benefit Account) and (ii) the actual investment experience of such Contributions (or the monthly compounding rate of Phantom Contributions).
Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit. (a) Upon the occurrence of an Event of Eligibility because of (1) Normal Retirement or (2) Pre-Retirement Disability followed by Employee attaining the age of sixty-five (65) years prior to death, Bank shall pay an annual supplemental retirement income of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000). (b) Such annual supplemental retirement income shall be paid to Employee or his designated beneficiary for a period of fifteen (15) years in one-hundred and eighty (180) equal monthly payments with the first payment to commence on Employee's Normal Retirement Date and shall continue to be paid to Employee or his designated beneficiary on the first day of each consecutive month thereafter for the succeeding one-hundred and seventy-nine (179) months.

  • Supplemental Retirement Plan During the Contract Period, if the Executive was entitled to benefits under any supplemental retirement plan prior to the Change in Control, the Executive shall be entitled to continued benefits under such plan after the Change in Control and such plan may not be modified to reduce or eliminate such benefits during the Contract Period.

  • Early Retirement Incentive The Employer may offer to any faculty member or a faculty member may apply for one of the early retirement incentive alternatives described herein, provided the faculty member meets the following criteria. The Union shall be advised in writing of any offer of early retirement made to a faculty member.

  • Supplemental Retirement Benefits The terms and conditions for the payment of supplemental retirement benefits are set forth in a separate written agreement between the parties.

If an employee gives the Board an irrevocable notice of retirement by February 1st one (1) year prior to the school year of retirement, the Board shall pay him/her a six percent (6%) retirement incentive, inclusive of all other increases in TRS creditable compensation, for his/her remaining year of service. Once an employee submits an irrevocable notice of retirement by February 1st, that employee shall be removed from the salary schedule contained in Article IX of this Agreement. All calculations for increased TRS creditable earnings will be based on the TRS creditable earnings in the year prior to the submission of the irrevocable notice of retirement. Once the employee submits an irrevocable notice of retirement an employee’s creditable earnings shall be increased by six percent (6%) of the previous year, but in no case will the employee’s TRS creditable earnings increase exceed six percent (6%) of the previous year. If, after submitting an irrevocable notice of retirement by February 1st, the employee resigns from, or is dismissed from duties for which the employee was paid a stipend or additional compensation the previous year, the retirement incentive for that employee will be recalculated accordingly. b) To be eligible, an employee must submit an irrevocable notice of retirement by February 1st which must be accompanied by a Teachers’ Retirement System (TRS) member requested “Personal Statement of Benefits” and a “Benefit Estimate” confirmation of total years of service. An employee with ten (10) years of full-time service with Neoga C.U.S.D. No. 3 is considered to be eligible for the retirement incentive by meeting one of the following conditions at the time of retirement: 1) The employee is sixty (60) years of age and has ten (10) years of creditable TRS service. 2) The employee is at least fifty-five (55) years of age and has thirty- five (35) years of creditable TRS service. c) If, during the term of this Agreement, any legislation and/or TRS rules/regulations are enacted or not reenacted and/or adopted or amended that result in a greater cost to the District than the costs generated by this Agreement, or that change the definition of what is subject to the 6% TRS cap, the parties agree that this Section shall be null and void and upon the demand of any party shall meet to bargain language to succeed this paragraph.

  • Supplemental Retirement Benefit The Executive will be entitled to receive a monthly Supplemental Retirement Benefit (the "Supplemental Retirement Benefit") commencing on the first day of the month coincident with or following the later of the Executive's termination of employment or attainment of age 60 and continuing for the remainder of his life. Unless otherwise elected by the Executive, the Supplemental Retirement Benefit shall be payable in the form of a 50% joint and survivor annuity which shall be unreduced for the actuarial value of the survivor's benefit. If the Executive's spouse at the time of his death is not more than four years younger than the Executive, the survivor benefit shall be equal to 50% of the Executive's benefit and shall be payable to his spouse for the remainder of the spouse's life. If the Executive's spouse at the time of his death is more than four years younger than the Executive, the benefit payable to the spouse shall be reduced to a benefit having the same actuarial value as the benefit that would have been payable had the spouse been four years younger than the Executive. The Executive shall also have the right to elect a 100% joint and survivor annuity, on an actuarially-reduced basis or a lump-sum payment, on an actuarially-reduced basis (if the Executive makes a timely lump-sum election which avoids constructive receipt), or any other form of payment available or provided under the "Supplemental Plans" defined in this Section 8. Actuarial reductions shall be based on the actual ages of the Executive and his spouse at the time of retirement. If the Executive is not married at the time of his retirement, actuarial adjustments shall be made as if the Executive had a spouse with the same date of birth as the Executive. In the event that the Executive elects a form of payment other than the automatic 50% joint and survivor annuity or other than a lump sum payment, and remarries subsequent to retirement, the benefits payable under this Section shall be actuarially adjusted at the time of the Executive's death to reflect the age of the subsequent spouse. If the Executive elects a lump sum payment at retirement, no further benefits will be payable under this Section.

  • Retirement Plans (a) In connection with the individual retirement accounts, simplified employee pension plans, rollover individual retirement plans, educational IRAs and XXXX individual retirement accounts (“XXX Plans”), 403(b) Plans and money purchase and profit sharing plans (“Qualified Plans”) (collectively, the “Retirement Plans”) within the meaning of Section 408 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the “Code”) sponsored by a Fund for which contributions of the Fund’s shareholders (the “Participants”) are invested solely in Shares of the Fund, Transfer Agent shall provide the following administrative services: (i) Establish a record of types and reasons for distributions (i.e., attainment of eligible withdrawal age, disability, death, return of excess contributions, etc.); (ii) Record method of distribution requested and/or made; (iii) Receive and process designation of beneficiary forms requests; (iv) Examine and process requests for direct transfers between custodians/trustees, transfer and pay over to the successor assets in the account and records pertaining thereto as requested; (v) Prepare any annual reports or returns required to be prepared and/or filed by a custodian of a Retirement Plan, including, but not limited to, an annual fair market value report, Forms 1099R and 5498; and file same with the IRS and provide same to Participant/Beneficiary, as applicable; and (vi) Perform applicable federal withholding and send Participants/Beneficiaries an annual TEFRA notice regarding required federal tax withholding. (b) Transfer Agent shall arrange for PFPC Trust Company to serve as custodian for the Retirement Plans sponsored by a Fund. (c) With respect to the Retirement Plans, Transfer Agent shall provide each Fund with the associated Retirement Plan documents for use by the Fund and Transfer Agent shall be responsible for the maintenance of such documents in compliance with all applicable provisions of the Code and the regulations promulgated thereunder.
