For part-time employees who are members of the Hospital's pension plan the percentage in lieu of fringe benefits is twelve percent (12%).
Time Benefits. APPENDIX “D” – PENSION NO FRILLS DEFINED CONTRIBUTION PENSION
Time Benefits a. Part-Time Employees who are covered elsewhere by another health and welfare plan shall not be covered by the Health and Welfare Plan as provided in this Appendix "B."
b. Part-Time Employees who are not covered elsewhere by another health and welfare plan shall be eligible for the following benefits only:
i. Standard Plan of Service provided by Medicare in the Province or Territory in which the Employee is domiciled.
ii. Major Medical or Extended Health Benefits coverage.
iii. Life Insurance.
Time Benefits. If the local parties agree, the Hospital will provide part-time employees with the option of voluntary participation in any and all of the group health and welfare benefits programs set out in Article 22.

Time Benefits. I- _- Part-time employees shall be entitled to and shall receive the same proportion of wages, sick leave, vacation privileges and paid statutory and civic holidays as their total time worked bears to full-time employment, using as a basis for calculation the entitlements of full-time employees as herein set forth. Part-time employees, excluding the job categories and TRAY CARRIER, shall be entitled participate in Health Care Benefits by paying a portion of the premiums based on the ratio of hours worked as compared to full-time hours averaged over a six-month period. Part-time employees are not eligible for Group Life Insurance coverage. For the purpose of the above calculations, the average hours worked for an employee will be calculated for each six month period ending April and September Any approved leave of absence will not be included in this calculation and the previous pro-rate, prior to the leave of absence be used.
Time Benefits. The Employer shall contribute the premium coverage of full-time participating eligible nurses in the active employ of under the insurance plans set out below subject to their respective terms and conditions.
Time Benefits. The Local Parties agree to examine the feasibility of providing part-time employees with the option of voluntary participation in dental, semi-private and extended health benefit programs. Time Benefits. A person who is employed by the County who works less than the established workweek for the department will receive the following benefits:
1) Health Insurance Part-time employees may enroll in the County-offered health plans in the same manner as full-time employees. Enrollment in an HMO is at 100 percent cost to the employee; enrollment in the New York State Health Insurance Plan – the Empire Plan will be dictated by their schedule. Part-time employees are not eligible for the County contribution to unreimbursed medical expense or dependent day care, nor will they receive a buyout for non-participation in the County-offered health insurance.
2) Wages, Salaries and Increments Part-time employees will be entitled to the same wages and salaries as indicated in Article 12 of this contract. Part-time employees will be entitled to an increment. Under the first criterion of eligibility, an employee may qualify after two (2) years at the same level. The employee hired after January 1st up to and including June 30th of any given year will advance the second January after hire. An employee hired between July 1st and December 31st in any given year will advance the third January after hire. Under the second criterion, an employee may qualify with one (1) year of service at the same level. The increment will be based upon the actual hours worked. If an employee works 95% of a full time employees hours in a given payroll year, he/she will be eligible for an increment the following January.
