Surface Grade and shape the road surface, turnouts, and shoulders to the original shape on the TYPICAL SECTION SHEET. Inslope or outslope as directed to provide a smooth, rut-free traveled surface and maintain surface water runoff in an even, unconcentrated manner. Blading shall not undercut the backslope or cut into geotextile fabric on the road. If required by the Contract Administrator, water shall be applied as necessary to control dust and retain fine surface rock. Surface material shall not be bladed off the roadway. Replace surface material when lost or worn away, or as directed by the Contract Administrator. Remove shoulder berms, created by grading, to facilitate drainage, except as marked or directed by the Contract Administrator. For roads with geotextile fabric: spread surface aggregate to fill in soft spots and wheel ruts (barrel spread) to prevent damage to the geotextile fabric.
Geological and Archeological Specimens If, during the execution of the Work, the Contractor, any Subcontractor, or any servant, employee, or agent of either should uncover any valuable material or materials, such as, but not limited to, treasure trove, geological specimens, archival material, archeological specimens, or ore, the Contractor acknowledges that title to the foregoing is vested in the Owner. The Contractor shall notify the Owner upon the discovery of any of the foregoing, shall take reasonable steps to safeguard it, and seek further instruction from the Design Professional. Any additional cost incurred by the Contractor shall be addressed under the provision for changed conditions. Laboratory a. Drug tests shall be conducted by laboratories licensed and approved by SAMSHA which comply with the American Occupational Medical Association (AOMA) ethical standards. Upon advance notice, the parties retain the right to inspect the laboratory to determine conformity with the standards described in this policy. Infrastructure Vulnerability Scanning Supplier will scan its internal environments (e.g., servers, network devices, etc.) related to Deliverables monthly and external environments related to Deliverables weekly. Tuberculosis Examination The examination shall consist of an approved intradermal tuberculosis test, which, if positive, shall be followed by an X-ray of the lungs. Engineering Forest Service completed survey and design for Specified Roads prior to timber sale advertisement, unless otherwise shown in A8 or Purchaser survey and design are specified in A7. On those roads for which Forest Service completes the design during the contract, the design quantities shall be used as the basis for revising estimated costs stated in the Schedule of Items and adjusting Timber Sale Account.
