Common use of Suspension and Dismissal Clause in Contracts

Suspension and Dismissal. A. An employee may be suspended without pay or dismissed for cause. An employee may appeal his/her suspension or dismissal by filing a written notice requesting review within five (5) working days of his/her notification of dismissal. Disciplinary actions involving only suspensions without pay and dismissals shall be subject to the grievance provision of this Agreement.
