Common use of TEACHER BECOMES DISABLED Clause in Contracts

TEACHER BECOMES DISABLED. When a teacher becomes disabled during any school year and is unable to work, the District will continue insurance benefits through the year when paid sick leave expires and until the teacher’s benefits for the following year would resume. The District has no responsibility to provide such benefits during a school year in which no work is performed or sick leave is drawn by the teacher under the terms of this Agreement.
